OMMATIDIA Completing Work On Debut Album

OMMATIDIA (formerly PRETENCE),the new band featuring Nicolas and Vincent (ex-THE OLD DEAD TREE),Guillaume (DUSTBOWL),Gilles (JARELL) and Olivier (SINN),will release its debut album, "In This Life, Or The Next", in early 2011 via an as-yet-undisclosed label. The CD is being recorded at Tour Fine Studio and will be mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street (PARADISE LOST, OPETH, KATATONIA, SOILWORK) in Örebro, Sweden.

The music of OMMATIDIA has been described as "dark melodic metal" with influences from such acts as PARADISE LOST, KATATONIA, SLAYER and TOOL.
